I have a terrible credit rating - I know. I used credit cards to pay
for parts of my college tuition. Be assured that since I have graduated
I have not had a single late payment. I am currently trying to pay off
all my student loans in 3 years instead of 10, and am paying over $600
a month toward education debt (4x the minimum payment). Other than
student loans, I have one credit card, with about $1000 on it, which I
pay money on twice a month. However, since I'm paying all the student debt, I have no saved up any money for "just in case" and I hear you are supposed to do that, so I thought I'd give the borrower aspect a try (I am already a lender on prosper). I won't default, hell I'll definitely pay it back in less than 3 years, I just would like to have some money in a savings account while I pay off debt. Thanks everyone! |
