I plan to use this loan to consolidate the balances I accrued on a couple of credit cards while in law school and studying for the bar -- the money was used for living expenses before I was employed. Now that I have a full time position in a law firm, with a steady, six-figure income, I want to increase the ease of my budget and attack my credit card debt in a systematic fashion. Plus, I'd rather that other people got the benefit of my interest, rather than the credit card companies.
I have never defaulted on any account and I have excellent credit. I own my own home and I make keeping my finances in order an absolute priority. This loan is simply intended to help me simplify my monthly budgeting plan and let Prosper users profit from it!
