Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay the first of three graduate school tuition installments required to complete academic registration for the MSc in Social Psychology at the University of Surrey, UK. I am required to pay this amount by Aug 1, though I need this money in advance to ensure that it reaches the UK on time. This deadline is not flexible, so ideally I would like to pay fees ASAP. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I will be able to pay off this loan with student loan funds that have already been approved, in two identical installements, the first of which will arrive in October/November 2008. Monthly net income: $ N/A I will be a full time student living off of the GRAD PLUS Loan and Stafford Loan for which I have already been approved. Monthly expenses: $ N/A Housing: 121 GBP (NOT USD) per week (campus housing) Insurance: $ NONE Car expenses: $ NONE Utilities: $ NONE (this is included in the price of campus housing) Phone, cable, internet: $ NONE (this is included in campus housing fee) Food, entertainment: $ This is difficult to calculate, since I will be living in Surrey, 35-45 minutes from London by tube. Clothing, household expenses $ This is difficulty to calculate, though these should be minimal considering that I am bringing new clothing with me. Credit cards and other loans: $ 6000 approximately, though I will be paying these off entirely after my GRAD PLUS and Stafford loan balance arrives. Other expenses: $ Unknown. I have calculated amply for any possible expenses that I will need in the GRAD PLUS and Stafford amounts that I will be borrowing for next year. |
