Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to? surprise my wonderful wife of 17 years with a new kitchen and master bathroom. She has put up with an early 80's dated kitchen and all blue bathroom (blue tub, tile, toilet, counter, sink, and faded blue linoleum floor that is falling apart) for many years now. She is a great cook and she deserves this. I tried through multiple banks to get a HELCO, and we do have equity, but with lenders tightening in this market, it is not happening. I own my car free and clear, and I tought about putting a loan on it, but the value has dropped so I cannot get what I need. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? I have a very secure job plus two rental properties with equity and positive cash flow, retirement accounts, and I have always worked a second job. Lenders will not give me a HELOC on my rental properties either and I did not want a mortgage because of the high closing costs. Currently, I am helping a fellow firefighter with his lawn business. I have a high value for integrity as well as for helping others. I pay my bills on time and understand the value of good credit. Your money is secure here. In fact, I may become a lender here too.
