Purpose of loan: Moving a small household to Portland, OR, area, and I am seeking a financial cushion to make the move go smoothly. Requesting money for: moving truck rental, opening rent and deposit, as well as other small expenses. My financial situation: I made sure this loan was small enough (yet sufficient) to be affordable, based on a single-earner income. Once established in Portland, I will be in a dual-earning household. In addition to $6,000 in liquid assets, I also have $12,000 in equities to help cover any income gaps. I am currently debt free and only use a credit card for membership benefits and fraud protection, which I pay off on the 15th of every month. I also wish to continue to be in good standing within this community, as I am also a lender on Prosper. P.S. If anyone has had a positive or negative experience with a large apartment complex in the Portland metro area I would be interested in hearing it, as most online apartment rating sites are inconsistent or anonymously rated, and I can only ask friends to check out so many places. |
