My sole purpose of this loan is a straight debt-consolidation loan to pay off 2 credit cards that have been open since my college years (nearly 7 years ago) and have never allowed me to ?take a deep breath of relief?. The total amount is $11,000. The interest rates are burning my monthly payments I make every month.

My financial situation:
I have been working at my current occupation for nearly 3 years with a steady income and have excellent credit, homeowner, very reliable, and always pay on time. An exciting change in my life is that I am a new mother to a 5 month old baby boy. He has brought nothing but happiness and a new found excitement for my future goals such as saving for his education and possibly save for my dream of an intimate wedding for his father and I someday. However, in order for me to reach these goals, I have to take care of these cards accumulating endless debt. I have the (liquid) funds to pay off these cards but I don?t want to exhaust it because I have a young child and have to keep it as a reserve cushion. Also, my older brother currently works at Prosper and the idea of making 1 payment over 3 years is so enticing to me and it supports the marketplace.

Thank you in advance!
