I was tinkering around in the garage with my brother, trying to come up with a stand to store my Rock Band/Guitar Hero guitar controllers. The product that we've come up with has turned out to be a hot selling item! You can see our business online at www.dudethingcreations.com. Purpose of loan: We need money to fund the growth of our business. The amount I'm requesting will be used in the following ways: $3,500 - pay for vendor fee to attend E for All (Previously E3) in October (we'll pay for our plane tickets ourselves). $1,200 - buy a computer guided machine to cut material for our new product, the Drum Stand. $3,100 - buy promotional materials including trade show booth, associated artwork, promotional materials, shirts, stickers, and business cards Our products: Gaming Guitar Stand: Houses up to 4 guitars plus the up to 4 microphones (1 standard). Full Size Guitar Stand: It's a bigger version of the gaming stand and it holds 2 full-sized guitars. Currently in the final stages of development. Drum Stand: This stand is completely unique in the market - it holds the drums for Rock Band and the upcoming Guitar Hero 4, plus up to 4 guitar controllers, the microphone and the drum kick pedal. We already have 19 people who have preordered the stand, and expect it to cost around $100 when it's released. My financial situation: I am personally a good candidate for this loan because I have a good job, and I have the disposable income to pay the payment without feeling any pain.
