Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to... pay off a higher interest personal loan that was used to landscape our backyard. I wasn't aware Prosper existed when I applied for the personal loan through the bank and ended up with a higher interest rate. I am also trying out Prosper from a borrowers perspective...If it goes well I will become a lender in the future. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because... I have excellent credit and ALWAYS pay my bills on time. I also have a very low DTI ratio. The only debts I have are my mortgage, HELOC, a small student loan, and the personal loan from the bank mentioned above. I don't carry any credit card balances and both of our cars are paid in full. I am doing this loan mostly as a trial for Prosper to see if I want to become a lender...and if I can get a lower rate on my personal loan in the process that would be great too. :) |
