Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate and eliminate all revolving credit. We do not wish to be beholden to the credit card companies any longer and this installment loan will allow us to move forward in that endeavor. We spent our 20s acquiring "things" believing it would make us "happy." We will live the rest of our lives living simply, sustainably and responsibly. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because we have discontinued use of our credit cards for purchases as of Summer 2007. We paid off one student loan in early 2007. We paid off our one car in Sept 2007 and have no car payments. We reduced our housing costs by 45% in October with the sale of our home (thankfully before the real estate market collapsed). We have 3 payments remaining on our student loan of approximately $500. We started this change in lifestyle at the beginning of last year and will continue to move toward a debt free life. We wish to eliminate all debt on revolving accounts as they are also detrimental to my credit score. Our goal is one monthly installment loan payment with a finite period of time for which it will mature. We will realize our dream of a debt free life in which we can live contently within our means.
