Purpose of loan: I have acquired some high interest rate credit card debt resulting from an unexpected loss of employment, and an expensive emergency room visit a few years ago. I wish to pay off this debt as quickly as possible; my intention is to transfer a portion of my highest rate credit card to this loan and pay the balance of that card off as quickly as possible, then move on to the next highest rate card until they are all paid off, and I'm free.
