Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to?repair the roof on my house. The roof is in such bad shape, there are pieces of shingles that fall off whenever the wind blows too hard. There are also 3 layers on top of the original wood shakes. It will need a complete tear-off and re-decking. The chimney also needs tuck-pointing. The mortar is coming out in places, and I don't want to let it go too long. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because?I will easily be able to pay this loan back. I just don't want to borrow against the equity in my home to do this. The city is on my back to get the roof done because it looks so bad, and they are going to start fining me if I don't get it done. They expect everyone to just run out and borrow against their house to avoid getting fined. I don't want to do that, but I do want to get this roof done. Thanks for your consideration. |
