Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off a Chase Credit card. I used to have a 12% APR on this card. Then when I was transferred to the UK, I had 2 late (less than 30 days late) payments, and they justified then moving my interest rate to 30%. I've been trying to pay it down but, it's hard. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I've paid off all my loans in my life. I've kept the same important job for over 10 years, and before that I was in the US Navy. The U.S. dollar has taken a toll on my life recently. We've lost 25% percent in buying power, its like getting a 25% cut in your pay over 2 years. Monthly net income: $ About $7000. After I paid all my bills, including amounts to cover the Chase 30% credit card, student loan and pay for my fiance's tuition, I have about $1000 leftover. Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 2200 Insurance: $ 100 Car expenses: $300 Utilities: $ 300 Phone, cable, internet: $ 500 - I live overseas, phone calls are expensive. Food, entertainment: $ 400 Clothing, household expenses $ 100 Credit cards and other loans: $ 2000 Other expenses: $ 300 |
