Gas is at a record high - this is not news.  The fact that my pickup only gets 18mpg might be but I'm sure many of you are in a similar spot.  I wish to remedy the situation by purchasing a motorcycle.  A Yamaha V-Star Custom to be precise.  It looks sharp and gets 60mpg.  I have a 20 mile round trip commute to work and its costing me $4/day.  I can get a bike and drop that cost to about .80/day.  Plus motorcycles are fun!  Yes - i want one also but the gas price situation has propelled my want into a need.  I've wanted one for many years but I'm only pulling the trigger now to cut down on my gas use.  I will repay this loan the same way I repay all my debts.  I have sufficient financial resources to handle this additional debt.  My current credit problem is due to a house sale that went bad.  My family moved from Omaha, Ne and my house was on the market for about 9 months.  We were juggling 2 houses for too long and it sunk my credit.  I did not and would not consider bankruptcy - I pay my debts and our credit situation is turning around but this takes time.  Thanks for your consideration.
