Purpose of loan:
This loan will be used to help pay off one of my high interest credit cards.

***PLEASE NOTE***
My initial listing was canceled because I had to request another mailer for the address verification and it didn't arrive in time to verify the address.  All of the verification info is now in place.  Thanks for bidding on my loan!

My financial situation:
I am a good candidate for this loan because I am determined to be debt free and be back on track. Recently, due to an unfortunate event, raccoons dug a large hole underneath our home's stone foundation which then led to a group of skunks nesting in our basement and causing quite a bit of structural damage not to mention skunk spray permeating the whole house. We had to pay over $10,000 to fix the basement and foundation of which only $5,000 was covered by our homeowner's insurance policy.  As a result, it has caused a lot of financial strain and we're now behind on our payments. I want to be able to pay off some of my debt, take charge of my finances, keep a budget, cut down on expenses, and eventually save money for my kids' education as well as saving for retirement for my wife and I. I'm hoping to borrow more than $7,500 but due to my recent FICO credit score I don't know if that's possible.  Ideally, I would like to pay off my credit card debts within 24 to 36 months.

Monthly net income: $ 6,931

Please note that on my initial listing the net income was lower than our monthly expenses but my wife and I figured out that her income was much higher than we originally calculated.
