I know I must look smarter than I am or else I wouldn?t be in the position of requesting this loan.  I make a nice salary in my rewarding 29 years as a speech pathologist. My #1 goal at this point is to become credit-worthy, fiscally responsible, and to undo the damage I?ve done through poor money choices.
My past credit history of slow pays and debts my first husband incurred continues to haunt me, although in the last 18 months, I have made a great effort to that with on-time payments. My second husband was in and out of the hospital with various complications of diabetes, racking up medical debts from unpaid or slowly-paid co-pays.   I need this loan to help eliminate some high interest credit card debt as well as (and this is really embarrassing) some stupid payday advance loans. I am so ashamed to admit that I even walked into those places and my promise to myself, God, my family, and anyone who will listen is that I Will NEVER darken their door AGAIN! I know now that those places are where poor people go to stay poor. I knew better, but got on that roller coaster and now I need off. And when I do, I promise to become the new poster child for why you don?t want to go into a Cash Advance place!
I will now have two sons in college at the same time and while their college tuitions are taken care of, I need to help care for college expenses. This loan would pay off those awful payday advance people saying goodbye to them forever, thus, freeing up about $600.00 to $700.00 per pay period (semi-monthly) to spend on those college expenses for the boys, and also to do the snowball thing with my other existing debts and close accounts.  I was able to knock off a couple delinquencies with extra money I earned this summer.  I can supply copies of these pay-offs since they aren?t reflected on the credit report yet. With those payday loans paid off, I can soon take care of the high-interest credit cards too.
My college freshman son leaves for Boston for college in 2 weeks and it would be nice to have the peace of mind that I will be able to send him a reasonable allowance each month. And the senior son deserves the same treatment from mom. This loan will enable me to help them financially as well as clean up that poor credit score. It would be nice to sleep at night too. I look forward to watching it improve towards an impeccable level.
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration of this request.
