Purpose of loan: A Limited Partnership opportunity has presented itself to me again, and many of my short term debt and equity accounts are illiquid. The L.P. Investment is once again around the emerging opportunities in the Forclosure Housing market, however, investment blocks are being sold in $25,000.00 blocks. Rather than choosing to liquidate investments in one of my Equity accounts, I decided to give Prosper a chance for the extra $5,000.00 needed. My financial situation: Stable, Great Credit, Adequate Income, and could easily liquidate an after tax investment account for the liquidity if needed, however, the stock market has produced significant value buys recently, and I am not willing to pull out of the market and sit on the sidelines.
