I am new to Prosper and want to understand the borrower experience. I plan to be a lender and want to understand firsthand what buyers go through so I can make better lending decisions.
I have more than $8000 readily avialable in a savings account to pay this loan off at any time. My mortgage is my only major expense and I have two roommate renters who cover that one for me.
If I get an interest rate below 8% then I'll use this loan to pay off my car. Otherwise, I'll probably repay it in full in a few months and just start focusing on lending to others. |
