I'm a 25 year old Chicago native, ready to start some home improvement projects on my condo. I own a duplex in a 3 story building in a rapidly appreciating neighborhood. First up, build a garage! It will be a 2 car garage for me and my upstairs neighbor (we will split the cost). We currently just have 2 uncovered spots behind the building. I have already received the estimate (roughly $15,000 for my share) and I currently have $8,000. I'm looking to Prosper and the community for a $6,000-$7,000 loan to help me build my garage. I'm a financially responsible individual with a steady, well paying (~$70k) job and minimal debt (outside of my mortgage). I'd like to get it built this summer so the birds can stop pooping on my car! (and to keep my car warm in the winter) I went to Northwestern University, majored in Computer Science, and am currently working as a software developer for a Fortune 500 company.
