First, I would like to thank you for approving my membership. I'm trying to get in the position of being a lender because I am well aware of the rewards that comes from being able to help someone. I'm truly grateful.  I'm requesting a loan to pay off my final debts so that my husband and I can purchase the house that we have been lease purchasing for over a year.  Once we purchase our home the payments will decrease considerably.  I also intend to pay off my existing loan with prosper.  I'm in the process now of doing what's necessary to increase my credit scores.   I have been on my job for almost fifteen years. I have recently joined an energy marketing team to produce income for investment purposes.  One of our goals is to get in the position to become Prosper lenders.  We are well aware of the rewards in being able to help someone else.

The following explains our finances:

Our total net income: $3630/mo
Lease payment: $1350/mo
Auto Insurance: $127/mo
Utilities: $200/mo
Cable/Phone/Internet: $130/mo
Travel Expenses: $150/mo
Food: $175/mo
Prosper Loan: $172/mo
Life insurance $66/mo
Security monitoring $27/mo
Cell Phone $99/mo

Total Expenses  $2496/mo

Our cars are paid for.  My credit suffered as a result of having to stay off my job for three months after an accidental fall in 2005 and being off my job for two months after an auto accident (not my fault) in June of 2006. I had some unexpected medical bills and travel expenses.  I am still waiting for my case to be settled.   I had to file chapter 7 bankruptcy last year in order to start getting things back on track. It was discharged in May 2007.

The payments will be drafted from my bank account and I have made it a practice to make extra payments every chance I get .  I am close to paying my first loan off early.

On my first loan payment Prosper did not debit my account on the due date. As proof I sent a copy of my bank statement showing that my account had not been debited on May 18, 2006, the day the payment was due. As a result I was not charged a fee. I manually paid 200.00 on the 19th. On July 17, 2006 I made a deposit that did not clear until after the debit attempt on the 18th of that month. That one was my fault. I paid 175.00 manually on the 19th. My monthly payments of 172.00/month have been paid timely ever since. I hope that you can find it in your hearts to help us finish getting our finances completely back on track.  We are so close. My credit standing means a great deal to me.  Thank you for your consideration.
