My wife and I built our new home last year, and after upgrading many things, (landscaping, painting, appliances, etc...) we are now ready to put in a patio. We have an estimate of $8200.00 - which includes a 14 x 30 patio on the side of our house, a walkway to the back yard connected to patio (12 foot circle) with a fire pit and a seat wall. This also includes the steps to our patio doors. We do have some of the money, we just did not want to do the credit card route this time around , because we are paying them down and out of our lives. I have a very good credit rating, I work a full 40 hour week, and we pay extra into all of our bills --- including our mortgage, and we always pay our bills!!! We have 2 small children and they are very excited about getting this project underway --- they want to cook marshmallows on the firepit, and my wife and I would like to make more use of the back yard.
