Purpose of loan: Pay off my credit card debt. I am drowning in very high interest. I went through a very hard time with a sick mother and a sick sister-in-law, both of whom have passed. I put my self in debt to keep my mother out of a nursing home by providing her in home care. Shortley, thereafter, my sister in law was diagnosed with colon cancer at 45 and died within nine months. She left my brother with three children. I helped him out as well. I am now trying to get myself out of this web of credit card debt. I prefer to take care of my own finances and I usually keep my husband out of my financial situations. The money that I earn is basically mine and I only pay for househould groceries and my younger daughter's clothing, etc. I just recently started paying close attention to the amount of interest I am paying on some of my cards and I was astounded!!! My goal is to be in a much better position within the next 30 months. I would like to consolidated my debt and pay it off in that time frame My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because? I have had credit since I was 17 years old, have been working everyday of my life since I was 18. Had my first job on weekends at 14 stuffing envelopes in brokerage houses on Wall Street. I don' have a lazy bone in my body. I have been employed with Citigroup for almost 28 years and have never negelected a debt in my life, no matter how hard the times have been for me. I am proud of my credit rating and I take it seriously. Right now I feel as if I have put myself in a very negative situation and really want to get back to a point where I have more cash flow. I would like to start cutting up these cards and paying cash for my purchases. |
