Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to re-invest into Prosper. Also, I want to experience Prosper from the borrower's perspective. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have an A credit grade and a low DTI. Note that my current loan request is low relative to my income. It was hard to find work in software after the dot com bubble. I depended on credit cards which eventually led to the delinquencies. I am a bit wiser these days and my last delinquency was over 3 years ago. My gross monthly income is $6500.00. My income after taxes and pre-tax deductions is $4200.00 My monthly outgo is $1862. Rent including utilities: $1185 Food: $200 Student Loan: $90 Cell phone: $60 Phone: $30 Cable and Internet: $55 Entertainment: $200 Car Insurance: $250 paid every 6 months I only drive on the weekends. I live walking distance from a metro station and my metro expenses are pre-tax. I have savings more than double the principle of this loan. Also, I plan on carrying the loan the full three years.
