Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to reinvest in Prosper.  I currently am an active Prosper lender and would like to better understand the borrowing side. In my current job, I model structured finance and collateralized loan obligations - my grasp of the economics and cash flows of this technology is well suited for this venture.  It would be amazing if the secondary market for these loans was activated.

My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am not one to be late on payments and my ratio of monthly net income to expenses is very high.  Additionally I have Prosper and other semi-liquid investments totaling more than 3x the loan amount.

My current monthly income and expenses are:

Revenue
Salary: $3,760
Expected Salary Increases: I'm up for promotion in May, effective August '08 and the standard level increase is 15% with highest performance rating at a 25-30% increase.

Non-Debt Service Expenses
Rent: $1000 (including Utilities)
Cable/Internet: $50 (split with my roommate)
Transportation: $110
Gym Membership:  $75
Food/Clothing/Entertainment:  $1000

My revolving balance is Wtd. Avg. APR of 10% p.a. and I have one student loan of $16,000 capped at 2.375% p.a.
