2nd prosper loan paid back 1st already. Purpose of loan: I will use this loan to place a new roof on my house. It is a 2 unit so, I'll be able to write down part of it on my taxes next year. I have been investing in prosper for a year and 8 months now. I now have about $2800 invested into prosper. My financial situation: As you can see from my credit report I have paid everything back on time or early. My score is a little lower then I like because I keep switching CC to keep a 0% apr on them. ( usually I have to pay a transfer fee but that is it and its only once a year) My wife also works aloowing us to save a considerable amount in our 401k's (16% for me and 8% from her) Plus we are using sharebuilder to buy stocks and prosper as ways to save as well. I also bought my first house because it was a duplex and collect rent from it. Monthly net income: $ 6000- taxes and 401k's ~3725 Monthly expenses: $ Housing: $ 900 Insurance: $ 150 Car expenses: $ 250 Utilities: $ 150 Phone, cable, internet: $ 150 Food, entertainment: $ 500 Credit cards and other loans: $ 350 Other expenses: $ 450 Prosper: $ 410 total = $ 3310 so that will leave about $315 a month for other things that come up and to place into my saving's acount |
