I would like a loan for the following:

(1) Finish paying attorney fees. $1,500

(2) Childcare - I have had to pay behind & the daycare director has worked with me - I would love to be able to give her the money all at one time $2,500

Reason for debts:
I have spent the last three years (since Feb 2003) trying to obtain a fair & equitable settlement with my ex-wife. She has many unresolved problems and does not want the primary responsibility for the boys, which in all honesty is okay with me. At this point, I want to build the stability that my 2 and 4 year old need. Everything I do is focused toward a better future for my sons. I have 93% custody of the boys due to the situation.

I have been working on my credit report steadily for the two years. I found out when I was considering a home purchase that I had several debts that did not belong to me, what I could not get removed from my credit I paid off. (Due to them being related to my ex-wife) I have delayed the home purchase to continue to build my credit and savings, when I am ready to buy I want to have saved a down payment.

My credit is clean but my score is lousy due to all the late pays. I have initiated paperwork to remove the last few items that don't belong to me but it takes a long time to build the credit score back up. I have id theft and fraud alert on my credit to prevent any other problems and I was happy to have to prove to Prosper that I am who I say I am.

Also, I recently experienced a huge career break. I now have a position with a major mortgage company that will help me further my family?s stability. I start the new job on August 21. With the new job it would be possible for me to pay this loan off by December, however, I will probably pay it out over 3 years to help demonstrate that I can and will make my monthly payments.
