I am requesting a loan in the amount of $8,000 to consolidate all of my bills. My husband is still only working 40 hours a week and there is a possibility of me having 6 - 8 hours a week cut. I continue to work Saturdays at a second job, but am currently having back problems and may be facing some surgery. I would like to pay everything off except our mortgage and have a small cushion for emergencies. (Such as our washing machine going out last week and finding a leak that required some work to be done on our laundry room floor and wall.) With this loan I will have everything paid off, and have the two Prosper loan payments and our mortgage. That just leaves our regular monthly bills, so if I do have to be off for surgery we won't be so strapped. I have received raises totaling $2.50 in the past two years and look for $.50 - $1.00 on my next raise. My husband should get his child support reduced in 2 years (at most) and be completely done in 3 1/2 years, which will make a huge difference in our budget ($722.00 each month). I feel completely confident that we can keep these payments current since we will be reducing our monthly payments by around $200.00, if not a little more, with a consolidation. Thank you! |
