Hi there!  My wife and I are consolidating our last two credit cards and getting them all paid off!  We have a loan with Prosper right now.  We are good payers as you can see and have never had a late payment on any of our loans/credit cards.

Monthly budget:
Income:
$5900 approximate net income (my regular income only, excludes freelance and my wife's income), this after 401k and insurance comes out.

Budget:
$1900 rent for our apartment (because who can own in Los Angeles?! hah!)
$250 for utilities
$175 for our family plan cell phones, our land line, and DSL
$233 for our school loans (consolidated prior to graduating)
$654 for both car loans and auto insurance
$150 for gas
$450 for groceries
$67 for cable
$55 for storage unit
$50 for renters insurance
$40 for the one school loan that's separate
$50 to savings account
$200 for misc spending
------
$4224 = monthly expenses
That leaves us with $1676.  This will go towards our Prosper loans (our current one that is half paid off and this one should we be successful!) and other misc expenses, as well as our savings account.

I believe my credit rating went down because we bought a new car last month. My wife and I now commute in 2 different directions so a new car was necessary.  As you can see, my income has greatly increased since my last Prosper loan as I have changed companies and been promoted twice since starting there 7 months ago. I am now a Lead Engineer. My wife is also working a nicer job and is bringing in a lot more money doing voice over as well.

Please do consider this loan. I know the interest rate is on the low side, but any higher than this and there is no point. It'd be just as high as our credit cards!  The whole point of this loan is to keep it at or below credit card level and consolidate it all.  Also - as you can see from my other loan activity, I am a good investment. Never a late payment!
