Purpose of loan: We own a Health Club that needs to eliminate its credit card debt. We sought the advice of a business consultant when the rates on our credit card went sky high. We were very surprised to find out that credit card companies can raise our rates at will!! Our consultant suggested that we look for a loan to lock in our rate. Since we have one Prosper loan already, we decided to come back again. Our financial situation: We would like to eliminate our credit card debt and eventually be debt free both in our business and in our personal lives. By lending us this money you will help us continue down that path. We could have this actually paid off in three years and not be stuck with a 34% interest rate. Why is our Credit Score a C: Our credit score is a C due to the business debt. We are a newer business and so have not paid off a large amount of the startup debt. The business is not showing a profit but it is paying its bills!!! Prosper calculates your credit score with the payment for your new loan included in your debt ratio.
