I am interested in obtaining a loan through Prosper in order to consolidate some of my debt to one lower monthly payment. I found Prosper while reading an article on the Internet, an decided to give it a try. I have had a difficult time trying to get approved for a regular bank loan. The only reason that I can think of as to why my credit rating is so low is because of the amount of debt that I have. I do not have any delinquencies or public records on my credit report. My monthly take-home income is roughly $1600. The major monthly expenses that I pay with my paychecks are as follows: Car payment $506.27 Exxon $140.00 * Citibank $150.00 AmEx $ 80.00 Target $ 20.00 * CapitalOne $ 15.00 * Victoria's Secret $ 15.00 * Dell $ 75.00 Lack's Furniture $ 75.00 * Recurring monthly expenses (rent, utilities, etc) come out of my husband's check. The bills with an * by them are the ones I am going to pay off, and close, with the loan I receive through Prosper. This will cut the monthly payment tremendously. In fact, almost in half!
