My financial situation:
Previously I had been working for the same company since 1999.  In July of 2007, I was offered a new job with the State which offered me more money, insurance, and a 401K.  I started in September 2007 and have been enjoying my job.  I plan on staying with the state and building my retirement.  I will be receiving a 5% COLA raise (3% will effect my income, and 2% effects my benefits) which will begin the first of August.  After taxes, insurance, and contributing to my 401K I bring home $1,750 a month (except for the months of May and October which is $2,625).   I do not have any delinquencies.  My total expenses come to $1,313.22 which still leaves me with $435 a month. I have $385 that I am currently paying monthly on credit cards, which would go to my prosper payment.

My monthly budget:

Mortgage/rent: $0.00: I am fortunate enough to live with family.*
Car Insurance: $48.32
Car expenses: $310.57
Fuel: $160.00
Utilities: $0.00: Again, I am fortunate enough to live with family.*
Phone, cable, internet: $30.00
Food, entertainment: $75.00
Clothing, household expenses $50.00
Credit Card Payments $385.00
First Prosper Loan: $74.33
Other expenses: $180.00
---------------------------------------
Total monthly expenses: $1,313.22

*I am planning to continue living with family throughout the term of my prosper loan.
