Purpose of loan: Consolidation and payoff of a higher interest rate credit card. My financial situation: I'd like to pay off my current higher interest rate 22.99% credit card and save a few interest points. I'd be very happy with a rate of about 15%, but I'll start the bids at 20% and see how low people will bid the rate down. I have an excellent job and a will have no trouble paying this loan. I'll be paying off the $17K balance and a $4K line of credit. The 6 inqueries during the past six months are due to me shopping a mortgage refinance opportunity. I did not do this because would not have made financial sense to try and reduce my APR by .5% and pay a bunch of money up front. Nonetheless, I did have several companies look for me. |
