Purpose of loan: I want to pay off my high-interest credit cards. I have nearly $4,000 in debt at nearly 30% interest. I have no trouble paying more than the monthly minimum on my credit cards, but that will still take years and cost me hundreds of dollars more than this loan. This is strictly a money saving move as opposed to a plead for help. My financial situation: I?ve had a Prosper loan for the last 6 months without missing a payment. I used that loan to pay off an insane Cash loan with an interest rate of 47%. I didn?t meat a payment on that loan, which I had from August 2005 to September 2007. Since my first Prosper loan, I received a raise at work. I will easily be able to make the payments on this new loan as well. My monthly budget: Rent: $1000 Insurance: $85 Car expenses: $750 (with gas) Utilities: $75 Phone, cable, internet: $250 Food, entertainment: $350 Clothing, household expenses $400 Credit cards and other loan payments: $1000 |
