I am a single parent and I just moved from Hawaii to Washington State.  I am very lucky to have a stable, well-paying job and I own a townhome on Oahu, which is on the market.  I am selling it to purchase a home in Washington. 

I am seeking to consolidate and pay off my Bankcard balances, current at $25K (down from $33K) &  65% full (vice 97%). Paying down my credit card debt will also assist me in raising my FICO & qualifying me for a lower interest mortgage loan when I go to purchase a home.

My public record is only my Hawaii income taxes, which I am paying directly to Hawaii ($251/mo.) since I work for a New York University and they could not take out Hawaii taxes. I have paid it down about 50%.

I will have more than enough Income left over to pay my loan.  Also, my student loans are in deferment until my PhD is complete in 2011.
