Paying off my high APR/highest balance credit card

Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my 23% APR US BANK credit card. It's the last one that a) has a high balance of about $6900 and b) has the highest interest rate. I have successfully used Prosper TWICE to assist in paying off my unsecured debts. One by one my credit cards get cut in half and I am hoping to add my worst and most feared card to the list! The interest rate quoted above surprisingly would provide a lot of relief for me considering I pay more than that! My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have been a very dependable and successful Prosper borrower in the past. I make my monthly minimums each and every month, and tend to pay more whenever possible. Despite my credit grade, Prosper lenders have still funded two loans in the past with which I have gone above and beyond to repay in an efficient and timely manner. I am confident I can do the same with this loan, even despite a higher principal balance. I look to realistically have this loan paid off between 9 and 12 months. Monthly net income: $3000 I work as a valet for a hospital (full-time), AND now just recently a 5-star hotel (part-time). Monthly expenses: $1310 Housing: $450 rent Insurance: $0 (taken out of paycheck automatically Car expenses: $80 gas Utilities: $ 50 electric and water Phone, cable, internet: $80 combined Food, entertainment: $100 groceries Clothing, household expenses $0 Credit cards: $350 minimum Student loan: $200 |
