Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to to help me complete my last semester in medical school. I am a 4th year medical student in need of around $10,000, to cover my last semester in medical school. Amazingly, the total cost of my medical school education was a whopping $70,000 that has already been paid in full out of private funds and scholarships. Unfortunately, at this time as all of my resources have expended, I am in great need of the last portion of the funds to be able to graduate this July 2008. I am scheduled to graduate with a M.D. degree from Medical School. I have endured through major obstacles and challenges to get to the place I am now. At this time, I am facing some more obstacles but with the support of my family and sponsors I will succeed and be successful. I am attending medical school clinical training in the State of Georgia. I am training with physicians in the Atlanta area. In 1996, I first started my medical training as an EMT-1 on the Paramedics Tract, but my passion for helping those in need was so overwhelming it had led me to desire to expand and advance my medical knowledge; Because of this passion, I decided to go to medical school. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from college in 1998. After graduation, I served close to four years in the U.S. Peace Corps in South America from 1999-2002. In July 2006, I participated in a medical mission trip in Kenya with the Student National Medical Association in a month long medical clerkship. I plan to focus my medical career dealing with International Medicine in developing medical facilities in developing countries and here in the US unity. I have placed an ad here out of my need to obtain a small loan to fund my medical school tuition.
