Hi Everyone, I posted an add on Craigslist hoping someone would be kind enough to loan me a $4700 to pay off my Discover Card. Matthew replied and told me to sign up at Prosper.com and join his group. I heard about this site one night from NBC news. Anyway, I made sure that it's legit and not iffy just like everyone else Basically my situation is this, when I was going to school, no one supported me and throughout the years I ended maxing my Discover to $4700. I had to pay rent and all the necessity that came with college life. After graduating, I couldnt find a job so I wasn't able to pay the minimum balance. I consulted with Debt Settlement USA to negotiate a settlement where I can pay the amount in time. But Debt Settlement USA (DUSA) told me that Discover wants the full amout to be paid. What DUSA told me that I can wait for another month to see if they can lower it down. I got a call from the collection agency of Discover (law firm) that they were going to file a litigation if the amount hasnt been paid. I told them I couldn't and they told me that if I have another credit card I should transfer it which I don't have. I consulted my negotiator at DUSA told that they would fight back. Anyway, I think enough is enough, I might as well pay it now. If I can borrow the money and maybe someone would loan me and I would definitely pay it back. This overburdens me and I couldnt concentrate on my job. I just want to be able to pay it fully in installments. Sincerely, Chris [LAST NAME DELETED] |
