Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to pay off my American Express credit card which is currently at 18%. If I make a payment of $1000, around $350 would be applied towards the interest. While I do not mind people making money on me, not like this. I would sleep better if I can simply close this account knowing that I do not have to deal with Amex "ever" again. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I have good credit and my financial situation has improved from the last couple of years. Essentially, I found myself in this situation because we went from a good double income household to single income household and used Amex plastic to subsidize ourselves. Major lesson learned. Also, I would also like to become a borrower once I am in a better financial position. Thank you for your consideration. |
