I am a PhD student in my final year of my studies in biomedical engineering at a top research university in Boston. I expect to graduate and enter the workforce in less than 6 months and I want to get my teeth aligned by having braces put in and the treatment finished before I start working. I have saved half of the cost of the treatment but I don't want to wait until I have the entire sum saved up. I don't have any other loans and I can fully pay the monthly payments on this loan as you can see from my expense breakdown below. In fact, I expect to pay it off before the three years as I will be working in consulting. I'd rather not put that amount on my credit card and rather have the interest go to you, the investors. Feel free to ask me any questions about my financial background or anything else really. Monthly net income: $2000 (PhD fellowship) Monthly expenses: $1550 Housing: $700 Insurance: $50 Car expenses: $55 Utilities: $50 Phone, cable, internet: $120 Food, entertainment: $500 Clothing, household expenses $100 Credit cards and other loans: none Other expenses: none Monthly expenses are low as I live with my girlfriend who is graduating law school in the next year. |
