About me:
I am a thirty-year-old single mother of one beautiful daughter. I have worked for 6 years as a professional freelance writer. My passion is writing, and teaching my daughter about the beautiful outdoors.

I will use this loan to
pay off several high interest credit cards.

My financial situation:
I recognize that I have poor credit. Two years ago I went through a divorce. When my husband left, I was pregnant and had no income. He stopped paying the mortgage on a duplex we had just purchased. So, I contacted a realtor and we sold the unit as soon as possible, but my credit was badly damaged.

My current debts:

Card Name: Balance; Rate: Monthly payment
Capital One: $3000; 26.4%; $250
Target Visa: $919.00; 24.24%; $150
Attorney: $5000; 9%; $109
Total: -8981.00

My household income:

My monthly income: $2400
I also receive 1600/mo in child support.
Total monthly net income: $4000

My monthly budget:

Housing: $1500
Car: $150
Utilities: $200
Groceries: $400
Insurance: $450
Phone, cable, internet: $150
Clothing, household expenses: $400
Entertainment: $150
Credit cards and other debt payments: $500

Total monthly expenses: $3900

Impact of Prosper loan:
The Prosper loan will be used to pay off both cards currently at 24.24 and 26.4% interest. The Prosper loan I have listed for will cost me $180 per month (though I hope that the rate will be bid down). It will replace $500 in current monthly payments, therefore I will save $320 per month in credit payments.

I intend to put half the money I save into my baby?s college fund, and the other half into paying off another debt with my attorney.

Thank you! I will try to answer any questions you might have.
