I would like to borrow $15,000 to purchase a pair of DDR style dance
machines for my arcade. In my profile picture you can see me standing
by my Dance Dance Revolution machine (Konami). The machine behind me
is an older, solo version of the same. There are basically 4 major
arcades in Oklahoma City and there are 3 major makers of dance machines
(Konami, Roxor, and Andamiro). There are 0 arcades in this area that
have all three brands. For variety, players travel to different
arcades. I want to be the one-stop shop for dance machines in Oklahoma
City. As you can see, I have a DDR (Konami) machine. I've paid for and ordered an Andamiro Pump It Up Zero from BMIGaming.com - it should arrive soon. The last game I need to complete the trio is a Roxor In The Groove 3 (which will be released before the end of this year). The total amount for these two new machines is $19,055. I'll put $4,000 down. I'm requesting a loan for two reasons: 1) I adore the ease of using prosper above a bank or other formal lenders. 2) I prefer to keep the cash in my bank account and let the arcade piece trickle quarters in at a rate that greatly exceeds the payment of the loan (ie cash flow reasons). I have enough unencumbered cash in reserves to pay off this loan immediately and comfortably. I'm the type banks love - The person who borrows money for other reasons than because he needs it - I hope you can find some love for me too. Sure, you may not get a 24% rate out of me, but as sure as the sun rises so too will your bank account at whatever rate you decide is fair.
