Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate 2 high interest rate credit cards. Capital One is at 22.99% and Advanta is at 12.9%. Our monthly minimum payment is $355.00 but we pay $750.00. We are hoping for a rate of 12% or better. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I've always paid back every loan on time and sometimes early. I have NO delinquencies. I am a homeowner living at the same residence for 5 years. I have never missed a payment or been late. I just received a retention bonus on top of my 14% yearly increase and was able to pay off one of my other credit cards. I currently work as a Senior Network Engineer at a large Service Provider with offices throughout the US. I am making good money with great job security. Monthly net income: $ 3,550.00 (After taxes and excludes quarterly bonuses) Monthly expenses: $ 2,450.00 ($1,100 left over) House: $ 950 Gas: $ 225 Credit Card Payments: $ 750 Car payment : $ 525 Side Note: My wife earns an additional $2000, her earnings are not reflected above. I love the idea of people helping people on Prosper and plan on becoming a lender in the future.
