I am a single guy living in Central Missouri. I have been at the same job now for 12 years - same industry for 20 years and same town for 18 years. I bought a house at the beginning of this year. I wasn't sure I could do that since I had declared bankruptcy 4 years ago after my divorce 7 years ago. I have a 30 year fixed $129,000 mortgage with 6.5% interest. I paid off one Prosper Loan last year. I wanted to buy a camper to replace the one I had to get rid of during my divorce. I paid that $3400 loan off in 12 months instead of the 36. Credit scores are interesting between the three bureaus. My three scores during the home buying was 683, 670 and 643. I was able to get a good interest rate on my home, but have very little equity built up in it. I am SO close to a B score on here. But alas, it still comes up as a C. I currently have another loan on Prosper. I did not include my lawyer fees from the divorce in my previous loan because the firm was not charging me interest. So I make payments of $50 to $100 each month towards the balance. A new firm has taken over and now they are wanting 18% interest per month. I'd much rather pay Prosper lenders interest then a law firm anyday. So any interest rate below 18% will be a win/win situation for everyone. Thank you in advance for your bidding. |
