Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to consolidate 3 high interest rate credit cards. We will be closing 2 of the higher interest rate cards and keeping the other at home for emergency use only. I would rather pay hard working Americans instead of the credit card companies. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I've always paid back every loan on time and sometimes early. I have absolutely NO delinquencies. My wife and I have a plan to retire early. I currently work as a Senior Network Engineer at a large Service Provider with offices throughout the US. I am making decent money with above average job security. My Company recently gave me a 14% increase to remain with them. Please note that my wifes earnings are not reflected below. She brings in $2000 a month. Monthly income after taxes and 401K ~3550 (Excludes quarterly bonuses) House = 950 Gas~225 Living Expenses ~800 Car payment = 525 Total Expenses~2500 ($1050 left over just from my salary) Side Note: I love the idea of people helping people on Prosper and plan on becoming a lender in the future.
