Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to finish consolidating my three credit cards and finish some important dental repairs not covered by my health insurance. One credit card is jointly held between myself and a former girlfriend. She put my name on the card to help me relieve my past debt issues, but because I am still rebuilding my credit score she can't transfer the card to me. With the help of Prosper I will be able to free her of my $6000 debt burden. I also need $1500 to have deep dental cleaning done. This is the most important part as I need to have the cleaning done or else it could affect my jawbone and cost even more. My previous Prosper loan helped me cover fillings. My financial situation: My current financial situation is excellent. After a rough patch immediately following college (I made the mistake of putting a great deal of my education on credit cards) I have been able to lift myself up during the past three years. I've been at my current job since April of 2004 and earn $43,000 per year. My only current debts are three credit cards totaling $8000 and my student loans which equal roughly $10000. My car was recently paid off more than a year early. My credit grade dropped because I didn't realize it was actually a bad thing to reduce credit available on a credit card. I requested a credit line be reduced from $11,000 to $7500. Monthly net income: $ 2400 Monthly expenses: $ 1700 Housing: $ 655 Insurance: $ 50 Car expenses: $ 50 Utilities: $ 75 Phone, cable, internet: $ 25 (I won't allow myself to have cable until my debt is paid off) Food, entertainment: $ 100 Clothing, household expenses $ 60 (I don't shop much) Credit cards and other loans: $600 Other expenses: $ 100 |
