Purpose of loan: This is our second loan with prosper. Our first loan is current and in excellent standing! We would like to take a minute to thank all of the lenders on Prosper. That first loan helped us out tremendously. Our credit has upgraded from an E to a C since our last loan and is improving more by the day. This loan will be used to consolidate a couple more of our credit cards to help lower our interest rate and to help us pay them off quicker. We are listing on Prosper again because our first experience was so pleasant and because we would be much happier to see our interest money go to the individual investors like yourselves, instead of the corporate banks. My financial situation: I am still working for the WA Department of Corrections. My income can be verified (As can any WA State Employee) by going to Lbloom.net I am also still in the WA Army National Guard...just re-enlisted for another six years. In the Guard I am a Combat Engineer and perform demolition and mine clearing operations. Have been deployed overseas once in 2003-2005. Have two steady jobs and my/our (can't include my wife's income on this loan) ability to re-pay this loan will never be an issue.
