I am a thirty-four year old mother of two. I have owned my own business for 11 years as a legal secretary/accountant. My passion is my family. We enjoy time together both indoors and outdoors. We work hard together and play hard together. I am seeking a loan to finish a renovation project on our basement. We received a Prosper loan six months ago that we used to start the project and are now looking to complete it. The project should be completed in three-four months. We will be using the basement to generate extra income for our family, as well as help some close friends who are seeking an apartment for their two daughters who will be attending college close-by. Our families have been close friends since our children were babies. Their two oldest children will be staying with us for the two to four years they attend a local university. Allowing them to stay in our basement will give me the opportunity to be a surrogate mother to the girls, I have known since infancy, while they are experiencing changes away from their home. I recognize in the past that we have had difficulty with our credit. With this loan we intend to boost our family income and pay off our credit cards and student loans. We are working to get on top of things. Six months ago our credit was an HR. We have brought it up considerably with hard work and a strong commitment to better our financial situation. This Prosper loan will further allow us to do that. Our Household Income: My Income After Deductions: 4,130 My Husbands Income After Deductions: 4,500 Our Family Budget: Mortgage: 3,010 (fixed rate loan) Monthly Expenses: 1,120 Health Insurance: 300 Car Expenses (gas): 200 vehicles paid in full Utilities: 120 Phone, Cable, Internet: 250 Groceries: 620 Clothing, Education Expenses: 500 Current Loans: 1200 Prosper Loan 443.82 Capital One 200 (pd. in full each month) Citi Financial 156 (pd. in full each month) Student Loan 400 Retirement: 440 Emergency Fund: 370 Rent we will receive from beasement rental=$500 New Prosper Loan=$400 As you can see this loan through Prosper will not only benefit our family with the extra income, but will also provide our dear friends a place for their daughters to stay. We appreciate you considering our loan. |
