Purpose of loan: My husband Tim and I have been attempting to open a new Drive-In Theater for the past 2 years. We unfortunately ran in challenges getting land we wanted rezoned to our use. So, we have elected to purchase an inflatable, 100% portable theater business. It has been our goal to own a fun, family-orientated business that is good fit with the local community. Our total cost to open the business is roughly $100,000.00. We have $50,000.00 of our own cash set aside for this project, $25,000 from family and friends and we are hoping our Prosper friends will be kind enough to loan the remaining $25,000.00 or so. My financial situation: I am a good candidate for this loan because I am currently employed at the local University and have been in the University system for over 8 years. My husband has been self-employed as an internet guru for the past 10 years. We have resided in our house for 8 years. We are financially sound. |
