Hi,

I want to create a home office in my house, that will be used for song writing and composing, as I am a part time musician, and want to start working on writing and composing in my free time.  In addition, I have 2 old items on my credit left over from a divorce, I have been offered a settlement on these items for less than .50 cents on the dollar.

My past credit problems were primarily related to a divorce, and while my credit rating reflects that I am a "D", my scored has improved from the low 500's when I took out my first prosper loan to close to 650, and I continue to work on improving my score, in fact I checked Experian last night and it was above 650, which would raise me one grade to C.

I am a good candidate for this loan as I have very good employment, and work for a major oil company.  My salary, bonus and military benefits are well above 100k a year, and I have a substantial 401k balance in which I have been saving between 15-25% a year for the past 8 years.  So, if something ever occurred and I was desparate, I have that option.  I have a current prosper loan, and I have never missed a payment, and plan on paying it off in March when I get my annual bonus, which is going to be pretty good this year as my company just announced earnings of 27B, and our bonus factor will result in me getting 10-15k, which will also be used to clean up old credit history as well as reduce current credit.  My state has recently changed the limits on the personal and business loans and I have set this to the maximum allowed.

Monthly Gross Salary - $8,750
Monthly Net Salary - $7,000
Monthly VA Benefit - $1,100
Total Monthly Net - 8,100

Expenses:

Mortgage - 1,450
Auto / Insurance / Gas - $775
Prosper Loan - $339
Credit cards - $200 (Minimum payments, but I rarely pay minimum)
Utilities - $250
Food, Misc, Entertainment - $200
Daughters Student Loan - $220

On average I have about $3,500 in residual income each month, of which I use to pay down my Visa/MC to ensure I carry a lower balance.
While my credit is not the best due to past problems, it is not truly a representation of my credit worthiness at the current time. I hope you will consider me for this loan, and I am willing to answer any questions.

Thank you
