Greetings Potential Lenders.  Hopefully the information I have provided below will convey to you my desperate need and desire to truly become "debt-free".  Unfortunately, because I live in New York, my interest rate is capped at 15%.  Under different circumstances, I'd be willing to pay much, much more.

Statement of Need:

I made the mistake of taking out payday loans in order to alleviate some initial costs once moving into a new apartment in New York.  My credit may be low, but that's only due to some dumb mistakes during College, and I haven't opened any new revolving tradelines since like 2003.  I'm willing to pay whatever interest rate available, as they must be better than the payday loans.  I realize that my screwups in College have prevented me from getting credit cards, which would have been a much better solution than the payday loans, but unfortunately, this is the predicament I am in. My Payday loans amount to nearly $1200 in total, and I am primarily looking to pay them off with these loan monies.

Current Budget:

Currently, my outstanding debts include a student loan payment of around $15,000, Revolving Tradelines around $400, and Delinquent Accounts (primarily from College screw-ups) amounting to around $1700.  Currently I make a salary of $2472/Month after Taxes (Yearly-$55,000).  Payday Loan Payments consume nearly $1300 of this money monthly, with the rest going toward food($150), cable($100), Rent ($975), Cell Phone Payments($50), and Entertainment($100).  Largely because of the payday loans, I am unable to pay off many of my outstanding debts.

Plan:

By obtaining a prosper.com loan in the amount of $1500, I will be able to pay off the outstanding payday loans and begin to pay off many of my outstanding debts, thus increasing my credit. Additionally, I will eliminate Cable TV and cut my Entertainment costs.  Again, I realize that I've made some huge blunders in college, but now that I am 24 years old and have a great career, I am ready to get out of this mess.

-In order to pay off this loan more quickly, I will pay $104 per month, rather than the suggested $52.

Conclusion:

I'm just asking you (lenders) to give me a chance to make up for some of the mistakes I've made.  I was immature during my college days, and unfortunately, Creditors tend not to forgive so easily.  I just need your help, as soon as possible, and I promise you that I will make all of my payments on time (through scheduled ACH deposits-to make sure they do happen).  Thank you for your consideration and for reading this, and feel free to contact me with any questions.
