Purpose of loan: This loan will be used to?invest! I graduated from medical school May, 2007 and am currently in my first year of residency. The long time sacrifices I've made throughout my long academic history have limited numerous investing opportunities. I will use this money to fully fund my 2007 IRA account before the April 15th deadline. The remaining will be used to dabble on the side in addition to paying off some miscellaneous undergraduate loans. I tried to list for a higher interest rate to hopefully attract more interest, but as a PA resident, Prosper caps the borrowing rates to 5%. My financial situation: I currently earn a modest salary in these next couple years (relative to the number of hours I have to work). I spend most of my time working in the hospital with little time outside to spend even if I wanted to. My medical school loans are all in deferment and/or economic hardship during residency/fellowship. My expenses: Rent: $1000 Utilities/Cell Phone: $100 Food/Entertainment: $200-250. I live walking distance to work and do not have unreasonable expenses. Even with my current salary and lifestyle, I could afford to accomplish my goal without this loan. However, I am just not comfortable cutting into my short term savings. This way, I think everyone can benefit from this. I am a good candidate for this loan because?I am as responsible with my money as I am with other aspects of my life. My long credit history, credit grade, and low DTI ratio speak for itself. I've never even had a single late payment nor delinquency. I will also start moonlighting shifts in the upcoming months (at a MUCH higher hourly rate) and should give me an even nicer income buffer. I assure you that there is virtually NO risk in funding this loan. My earning potential as an attending physician should erase any doubts that you may have about getting your money back. I've kept a flawless record since my teen years so it would be unthinkable to risk undermining that now. Thank you for considering my listing and helping me to solidify my financial future. As in the spirit of Prosper, I hope that a little from many will help me achieve my goal. (I was first a lender trying to help others in tight financial situations before turning to you for some help in return). |
